Pfaff Stitch Pattern File

An SPX file may also be a CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) file that contains stitching instructions for creating embroideries with a Pfaff sewing machine. It stores a pattern, which may be a flower, text, image, or other design. SPX files are supported by various Pfaff sewing machines from 2010 and later.
More Information
You will most likely only encounter a Stitch Pattern SPX file if you use a Pfaff sewing machine to embroider fabric. Embroidery programs, such as BALARAD Embird, may also export patterns as SPX files. They can also be downloaded from sewing websites.
You can view and modify SPX files with an embroidery program that supports the format. Then you can place it on a USB flash drive and insert it into a Pfaff sewing machine to load and stitch the design onto a material.
NOTE: Pfaff sewing machines manufactured before 2010, like the Pfaff 7570, do not support the SPX file format.
