Software Overview

CorelCAD is a computer-aided design (CAD) application for creating 2D and 3D technical drawings. CorelCAD users can save their files in the standard DWG file format used by AutoCAD, as well as the .DWS , .DWT , .DXF , .DWF , .DES , .STL , and .SHP formats. You can also export your designs to the .CDR , DES, STL, and .PDF formats and work with GIS files to visualize maps and geographic models.

CorelCAD is a quality design application that competes with Autodesk AutoCAD as a cheaper alternative. While the program doesn't provide as many features as Autodesk AutoCAD , it is still worth a look because it offers many similar features at a much more manageable cost.
