What is a DOTHTML file? A DOTHTML file is an HTML version of a .DOT file created with Microsoft Word, a word processing application. Instead of saving documents as DOTHTML files, Word supports saving them as .MHTML and .MHT files, which are more widely supported by web browsers and other programs. To create a webpage version of your template in Word 365, select File → Save As , then choose the "Single File Web Page (*.mht, *.mhtml)" option from the dropdown menu. You can also choose to save your document as an .HTM or .HTML file.
