What is a EEP file? An EEP file is a data file that stores information on EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) media, such as flash memory . It contains data in a hexadecimal ("hex") format, which defines the contents of the memory device.
More Information EEP files are commonly used for storing save states of games in Project64, a Nintendo 64 emulator . If the EEP file is created by Project64, it will be saved in the Project64\Save folder by default. NOTE: EEP files can also be edited with a Hex editor or a programming application like PonyProg.
