More Information PKX files can be extracted from .BIN files using a PKX dumper utility and can then be opened and edited in Windows using utilities like PKHeX (a Gen 6 equivalent of PokeGen). PKHeX can also be used to convert generation 3, 4, and 5 .PKM files to the new PKX format. The PKHeX program can only load and save files that have been decrypted.
