What is a AIV file? File created by AIVault, a memo tracking application; saved in a binary format inside a program "Memo Folder" and contains data for the memos; used for storing and recalling personal notes, ideas, and other information; also used for memory training.

AIV files are named after the name of the AI character followed by a digit between 1 and 8. When you play a skirmish game, Stronghold Crusader loads the layout from one of the AIV files.
