What is a GDT file? Datafile created and used by gretl, an open source econometrics program; contains economic information, such as descriptions, observations, and variables of the included data, in gretl's XML format that is used by the application for analysis.
More Information NOTE: The data contained in a GDT file is in plain text. If you have a large dataset around 10 MB or higher, the .GDTB binary format will provide faster read and write times.
