What is an OCE file? Database connection file used by the Hyperion Intelligence database management system ( DBMS ); defines the connection software, type of database, username, password, host, data retrieval method, and optional database name.
More Information OCE files may be created by selecting Tools→Connection→Create... within the database software. They are saved in the "Open Catalog Extensions" folder by default. NOTE: OCE files are also supported by Brio Intelligence, which was acquired by Hyperion in 2004. Oracle acquired Hyperion in 2007.
