Sogou Pinyin Method is a popular input method editor (IME) among Chinese users. IMEs enable users to create characters that are not available on their input devices, most commonly, keyboards. In this context, Sogou Pinyin Method allows users of QWERTY keyboards to utilize Chinese Pinyin (the official romanization for Standard Chinese) by creating input codes associated with extra characters unavailable on the keyboard.

An SSF file may also be an audio file used by a Sega Saturn video game. It contains music played in the game. Gamers sometimes rip SSF files from Sega Saturn ROMs to play the music they contain in various media players.

The SSF format is a variant of the Portable Sound Format ( .PSF ). Games for various consoles store music in their own, proprietary versions of PSF. For example, some Nintendo 64 games use PSF music saved as .USF files.

Gamers have created several scripts that allow them to rip SSF files from Sega Saturn game ROMs. Many of these scripts are available at kingshriek's SSF/DSF page .

You can use Audio Overload , Vitamin/CAIG ZXTune, or modizer to open an SSF file and play the music it contains. You can also use Winamp , with the Chipamp plug-in installed, or foobar2000 , with the SSF/DSF Decoder plug-in installed.

You can use Audio Overload to convert SSF files to the .WAV (WAVE Audio) format. To do so, open your SSF file and select the Save clip... button.
