Braille 2000 converts print spellings to ASCII Braille in BML files. XML properties, such as tags, are represented as BML properties, such as BML tags. This allows blind persons who can read and type braille to create braille XML pages.

To create a BML file in CASC Braille 2000, select New → Braille File , name the file, select "Braille2000 Braille File (bml)" from the file type drop down menu, and click OK .

To open an BML file in CASC Braille 2000, select Open → Braille File , navigate to the file, and click Open .
