What is an A7R file? Package created by Authorware 7, an application used to create educational applications; contains a packaged .A7P file without runtime ; cannot be edited.

More Information An A7R file is created with Authorware's one-button publishing feature. When you use the application's package publishing option, you can choose to package the A7P file as an .EXE or A7R file. To create the A7R file, select File → Publish → Package... , choose "Without Runtime" from the drop down menu, and click "Save File(s) & Package...". Then, name the file, choose the save location, and click Save . NOTE: After the release of version 7, Macromedia was was acquired by Adobe Systems and eventually discontinued.
