AshFile Data Structure

An ASH file stores data in a compact, binary format known as the AshFile format. It contains pockets of information called camps, where each camp has a name and a value. The value can be many things, for example, the camp might be named "price" and the value may be 8000.

Audiosurf Audio Metadata File

Audio data file created by Audiosurf, a game where players race through levels that are constructed on-the-fly by the user's music files; saves information about the user's song processed by the game; includes the generated ride, the length, and other ride information.

ASH files can be shared with other players so that multiple people can compete from the same ride.

NOTE: Audiosurf creates ASH filenames by appending ".ash" to the original song's filename. For example, an .MP3 file named song.mp3 would have an ASH file named song.mp3.ash .
