What is an LSU file? An LSU file is a network map created by SolarWinds LANsurveyor, an application for monitoring LAN and WAN networks. It contains information about a network, which includes the status of devices connected to a network.
More Information LANsurveyor enables IT professionals to create complete network maps for discovering and maintaining networks. When saving a network map, LANsurveyor creates an LSU file to save the configuration. NOTE: Neon Software originally developed LANsurveyor, but SolarWinds acquired Neon Software in 2007. SolarWinds then discontinued LANsurveyor and replaced it with Network Topology Mapper.

You can only open an LSU file with SolarWinds LANsurveyor. Unfortunately, SolarWinds replaced LANsurveyor with Network Topology Mapper, which does not support LSU files.
