What is a SAN file? A SAN file is an animation saved in the Smush Animation (SAN) format, a video format used in various LucasArts games. It contains full motion video which is pre-recorded video used as a narration technique for displaying action scenes in the game.
More Information The SAN files appear in games such as Outlaws, Full Throttle, Shadows of the Empire, and Rebel Assault. The SAN Player can be used to open SAN files from many of these games. NOTE: SAN Player is no longer developed or maintained.
