What is a VSCH file? File created by Windows Vault (also called the Credential Manager), a program available with Windows 7 that allows users to securely store personal information such as user names and passwords; contains a schema, or data description, for the data stored in the vault.
More Information VSCH files are typically located in the following directory: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Vault\ Windows Vault may also create two other files with the .VPOL and .VCRD extensions when creating a user vault. NOTE: You can access your Windows Vault through the Credential Manager by opening the Control Panel, choosing User Accounts and Family Safety, and selecting Credential Manager.
