What is a WEAPON file? A WEAPON file is a game data file used by games in the Bloons Tower Defense series. It contains settings that define how a weapon functions in-game. For example, WEAPON files specify a weapon's range and attack speed.
More Information Bloons Tower Defense is a series of tower defense games in which players use weapon-wielding towers to stop balloons from escaping a maze. Various versions of the game are available for most gaming platforms. Each Bloons Tower Defense weapon's name and properties, including its type, cooldown time, range, and targeting capabilities, are saved in a WEAPON file. These files are plain text JSON files. Enterprising Bloons Tower Defense modders have created tools that allow them to extract, modify, and re-import WEAPON files, to modify Bloons Tower Defense games. NOTE: WEAPON files are stored in a game's WeaponsDefinitions directory.
