What is a AAN file? Temporary file created by Avid Pro Tools, an audio editing and production application; contains information describing any changes made to Elastic Audio analysis data during a session.
More Information When you manually edit Analysis markers or change the Event Sensitivity property in the Elastic Properties window, AAN files are created by Pro Tools and placed in the session's Rendered Files folder. Since the files are temporary, any unused AAN files are erased when you close the session.
