If you receive a C3D file, you can open it with C3D Viewer, which is available to download for free. The program enables you to zoom in and out, pan, rotate, and orbit the model. You can save different views of the model in the JPEG, PNG, BMP, and TIFF formats, which allows you to share your model in a more widely supported format. The program also can be used to view other formats, such as .STEP , .IGES , and .STL .
NOTE: C3D Labs was formed in 2012 out of ASCON (one of the first Russian CAD developers founded in 1989) after years of developing the C3D kernel. They are located in the Skolkovo Innovation center outside of Moscow.
