HotDocs Clause Component File

Text module created using HotDocs digital form preparation software; saves a "clause" which contains text as well as HotDocs components (e.g., form fields); provides a reusable object for insertion into HotDocs templates ( .HFT or .HPT files).

Clauses can either be specific to a template or to a clause library ( .HDL file). For example, if you create a clause while editing a HotDocs template, it will be added to the template's CMP component file.

Concept Matrix Pose

A CMP file may also be a character pose created by Concept Matrix, a Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) character posing tool. It contains data used to apply a custom pose to a player's FFXIV character. After loading a CMP file, players can take a screenshot of their custom-posed character.

Final Fantasy XIV is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) published by Square Enix. In the game, players take on the role of an adventurer exploring the fictional world of Eorzea.

FFXIV modders have created several tools that allow them to alter the game's gameplay and add custom features. Concept Matrix and its successor, Anamnesis, are tools that allow a player to alter their character's pose to take posed screenshots.

If a player wants to save a character pose they've created in Concept Matrix, they can select Posing Matrix → Save & Load → Save CMP File . This saves the pose as a CMP file, which can be loaded into either Concept Matrix or Anamnesis.

NOTE: Anamesis saves poses as POSE files. Concept Matrix cannot load POSE files.

You can open a CMP file with Concept Matrix (Windows) or Anamesis (Windows). Note that to use these tools, you must also have Final Fantasy XIV (Windows) installed and running.

To open a CMP file in Concept Matrix, select Posing Matrix → Save & Load → Load CMP File .
