Skencil Drawing

An SK file may also be a drawing created by Skencil, a vector drawing program available for Linux. It contains a vector graphic . SK files were replaced by .SK1 files when Skencil was replaced by sK1.
More Information
Skencil is a free program that allows Linux users to create vector drawings. Unlike raster images , vector drawings are composed of text-based paths that are defined by a start point and an end point, as well as other points, curves, and angles. Because vector drawings are comprised of paths, not pixels, they can be blown up to a larger size without losing any image quality.
Vector drawings created using Skencil are saved as SK files. Development on Skencil was discontinued in 2005, and the program has since been replaced by sK1, which was created using a fork of Skencil. sK1 saves vector drawings as SK1 files.
NOTE: Skencil was previously called Sketch.
How to open an SK file
You can open an SK file in Skencil (Linux) by selecting File → Open... from the program's menu bar. You may also be able to open an SK file in sK1 (Linux) and Inkscape (cross-platform).
