What is an XC file? An XC file is a game data archive used by a Nintendo 3DS video game developed by Level-5. It may contain 3D models, textures, animations, and other types of game data. Level-5 game modders have created utilities that allow them to extract the game data that XC files contain.

How to open an XC file
You can open XC files with 3ds-xfsatool in Windows to unpack them and extract their assets. You can also use Kurrimu2 (multiplatform) to view and edit XC files' contents.
If your XC file contains a 3D model, you can use Blender with the Studio Eleven add-on or Metanoia to view that model (Metanoia cannot open XC files that contain other types of game data).
