What is a DB.CRYPT file? A DB.CRYPT file is an encrypted backup file created by the Android version of WhatsApp Messenger, a free messaging application. Some DB.CRYPT files contain a record of a user's message history, while others back up a user's stickers, chat settings, or contact status rankings.
