What is a RET file? Template for creating a new report with BusinessObjects, a business performance optimization program; contains report settings and pre-defined queries that serve as a starting point for creating a new report.
More Information BusinessObjects templates may be included with the software or may be created by the user. Templates can be saved by selecting "File→Save As→BusinessObjects Templates (*.ret)." They can be loaded by choosing "Select a template" in the New Report Wizard. The default template is named " default.ret ."
