What is an SDOC file? An SDOC file is a note created by Samsung Notes, a note-taking app available for Samsung devices. It is a Zip-compressed archive that may contain text, handwritten notes, images, sketches, and audio. SDOC files can be opened with Samsung Notes or decompressed to view their contents.

Now, when users open SDOC files in Samsung Notes, the app automatically converts those files into SDOCX files. How to open an SDOC file
On Samsung devices, you can open SDOC files with Samsung Notes. You can also use Notes' Share function to share your SDOC files with Google Drive, which will allow you to open your notes on other Samsung devices.
If you do not have access to Samsung Notes, you can rename your SDOC file to a .ZIP file, decompress it, and view its contents as you would any Zip archive. This will allow you to access the text and media contained within your note and manually reconstruct the note if necessary.
How to convert an SDOC file
If you want to share a note you created in Samsung Notes with someone else or open the note outside Samsung Notes, you can covert the note to a .PDF or .DOCX file. To convert an SDOC note to another file format:

SDOC files can be viewed using Oracle IRM Desktop, a program that "unseals" the documents for viewing. However, the documents can only be viewed if the user has the necessary rights. IRM software also sometimes integrates into corporate Word installations and provides an option to "seal" a document after editing it.
NOTE: Oracle IRM software also creates several other sealed file types, such as sealed .PDF files ( .SPDF extension).
