Statistica Node Interface Configuration File

A DMI file may also be a configuration file used by TIBCO Statistica, an analytics program utilized by data scientists and analysts. It stores information in plain text format that defines the user interface (UI) of a node in a workspace. DMI files include information about the nature of the node, such as the node name, the group it belongs to, the description of the node, the node type, and parameters and values of the node.
More Information
Statistica provides workspaces for users to set workflows for data analysis. In the workspace, users can add nodes from the Node Browser in Statistica and connect them to data sources for various purposes, such as data preparation, analysis, and graphing.
Each node is defined by two files: SVX and DMI files. The SVX files store information that defines the operation of the node while the DMI file stores information that defines the user interface of the node, which is how the node appears and what information can be input into the node. Both of the files bear the same filename. For example, a node named "DataAnalysis" consists of a DataAnalysis.svx file and DataAnalysis.dmi file.
Statistica comes with several pre-configured workspace nodes. The SVX and DMI files that make up these nodes are located in the following directory:
C:\Program Files\StatSoft\Statistica 13\DataMiner\
