What is an HDP file? An HDP file is a raster image saved in the HD Photo (HDP) format developed by Microsoft. It stores image data compressed with lossless or lossy compression, and supports a wide range of color depths and transparency. The HDP format, also known as JPEG XR ( .JXR ), was designed to store high-resolution photographic images more efficiently than traditional .JPEG files.
