More Information Businesses (and other organizations) use Locklizard Safeguard PDF Security to encrypt and control access to sensitive .PDF files. PDFs encrypted by Safeguard PDF Security are saved as PDC files. If a business wants to allow a user outside their organization to access a PDC file, they can do so by emailing that user the PDC file and an accompanying LLV file. This allows the user to view the PDC file in Locklizard's free Safeguard PDF Viewer, after they install the viewer and the license their LLV file contains.
