A PL1 file contains a building floor plan created with 3D Home Architect Deluxe. It includes the first-floor layout, as well as objects, such as furniture, lighting, appliances, and window treatments. PL1 files may also include custom surface materials and colors.

PL1 files are used to store the layout of the ground floor or first floor of a home. The second-floor layout is stored in a .PL2 file.
