There are several ways to install a widget in Plasma, including from KDE-Look.org, from the Konsole terminal emulator, or from a local PLASMOID file. To install a PLASMOID widget file using Konsole, type the following command: plasmapkg -u [widget file name].plasmoid You can also import a PLASMOID widget file by following these instructions: Select Add Widgets... from the desktop menu Click Get New Widgets → Install Widget From Local File... . Choose the "Plasmoid" type of widget and click Next . Select the PLASMOID file and click Finish .
