What is an RSF file? An RSF file is a sound file saved in the EV3 Robot Sound Format (RSF) created by LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3, software for developing LEGO robots. It stores audio data in a proprietary format recorded by the Sound Editor tool in the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 application.
More Information To create an RSF file with the Sound Editor tool in LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3: Select Tools → Sound Editor . Record the audio. Click Save , name the recording, and click Ok . After saving the sound, the software creates an RSF to store it in an .EV3 project. To view your RSF file(s) in a project, go to your project, click the wrench icon, and select the "Sounds" tab. To export an RSF file from a project and share it with other users: Click the wrench icon in the upper left of the Project screen in the application. Select your RSF file under the "Sounds" tab. Click Export at the bottom of the window, name your file, choose the save location, and click Save .
