Software Overview

Pokémon Type Wild is a fan-made Pokémon fighting game for Windows. Some of the artists who developed this game were former animators of the original show. The game is made in Japanese with some English translations and is now discontinued.

The game features fast-paced, side-scrolling gameplay similar to the popular Street Fighter game. You can choose to play a single or versus battle and pick from a variety of Pokémon, such as Snorlax, Gengar, and Breloom. Each Pokémon comes with skills according to its type as well as a unique finishing blow to battle an opponent until one of the Pokémon faints.

Pokémon Type Wild is geared towards Pokémon enthusiasts that want to battle Pokémon like they would in Street Fighter. The game doesn't come with many features or a lot of Pokémon to choose from and don't hold your breath for game updates any time soon. But if you really enjoy Pokémon, Pokémon Type Wild will provide at least an hour's worth of enjoyment.
