What is a DEVICEIDS file? Identification file created for registering devices in the Member Center, an Apple developer community; contains the name and ID of the specific device.
More Information You can use the iPhone Configuration Utility application to create a .PLIST file that holds the device IDs and device names of any device you connect to your Mac. Member Center supports two formats: A property list with the DEVICEIDS extension and a .TXT file. NOTE: As of iOS 8 Apple iPhone Configuration Utility is no longer available.
