What is an F3D file? An F3D file is a 3D product design created in Autodesk Fusion 360, a cloud-based product design program. It contains a prototype of a tool, machine, part, or other meant-to-be-manufactured items. Fusion 360 users create F3D files when manually exporting a product design.

How to open an F3D file
You can open an F3D file in Autodesk Fusion 360 (cross-platform). For example, to open an F3D file in the desktop version of Autodesk Fusion 360, select File → Open... and then click Open from my computer... . Then, navigate to and open your F3D file.
NOTE: If you do not have an active Autodesk Fusion 360 subscription, the Open from my computer... button will not appear. In this case, find your F3D file, right-click it, select Open with... (or Open With on a Mac), and choose Autodesk Fusion 360. Your F3D file will open Fusion 360.
