What is a MAKER file? A MAKER file contains a puppet (a character or object) template created by Adobe Character Animator, an application used to animate illustrated characters. It stores a graphic in the Character Animator Puppet format, which includes layers for each part that comprises a puppet and any applied animation behaviors. Character Animator users create .PUPPET files from MAKER files so they do not have to start from scratch.
