More Information The PLX64 files are loadable libraries, similar to .DLL , that are installed to add capabilities, such as support for Python, that IDA did not have previously. The PLX64 plugin should be placed in the /​plugin/​plx64/​ directory. NOTE: Each IDA plugin uses a different extension depending on its operating system type. The .PLW extension is used for Windows 32-bit, the .P64 is used for Windows 64-bit, and the .PLX extension is used by Linux 32-bit plugins.
