An archive of component information used with Alpine Engineering line of automated high speed linear saws for the roofing framing industry; TRS files are named Alpine after the name of the Alpine TRS propriety file type, while Alpine3.0 is the Alpine TRS propriety file type with bevel information included.

Rosetta Stone Language Data File

A TRS file may also be a data file used by Rosetta Stone Language Learning software. It contains information about a language, such as English, French, Spanish, or Chinese, that the Rosetta Stone installer installs.

Rosetta Stone Language Learning is an app that helps users speak, read, and write various languages, including English, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, French, Japanese, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Korean, Latin, Swedish, and German. The software combines interactive words and images in various exercises and provides real-time feedback.

TRS files may bear the name of the language for which they store information (i.e., ENG01.trs for English and FRA09.trs for French). Additionally, TRS config files are named catmpc.trs , credits.trs , and cdid.trs .

TRS files are not meant to be opened. Instead, the Rosetta Stone Language Learning app references the language information in the TRS file and loads it into the software upon startup.
