What is an ENV file? Envelope template created by Now Contact, an application that organizes contact information and day-to-day activities; contains a template print layout for your envelope; pre-defined options include "Baronial 2," "Announcement A-2," "Commercial 5," and "Postcard."
More Information To create the ENV file, select Define → Print Templates → Envelopes... , select the "+" button in the top-right, name the template, and click OK . You will then be able to edit the template layout and its dimensions. Click OK when you're finished. To select the template you want to print from, select File → Print Templates... , choose your template from the "Template Type" drop down menu, and click OK .

An ENV file may also be a settings file used by Corel WordPerfect, a word processor for Windows. It contains a record of a user's WordPerfect environment, including the toolbars, buttons, options, and menus WordPerfect displays. WordPerfect loads the settings a user's ENV file contains when the user opens the program.

Users can access WordPerfect's environment settings by selecting:
Tools → Settings → Environment
This shows the Environment settings dialog box. From this dialog box, users can customize their WordPerfect visual environment. They can also configure various other WordPerfect settings.
If a user has configured WordPerfect to save their environment settings, the program saves the user's settings to an ENV file. It then references this file when the user opens WordPerfect.
How to open an ENV file
Users cannot manually open or load ENV files. Corel WordPerfect (Windows) loads a user's current environment settings from an ENV file when the user opens the program.
