What is an FDC file?

Definitions file used by AutoCAD, a program that allows engineers and designers to create 3D drawings; contains definitions for application fields; used for displaying information within the AutoCAD user interface.

FarmD Character

An FDC file may also be a 3D model used by FarmD, an explicit VR video game. It contains a humanoid model that resembles a drake, cat, or other sort of animal. FarmD includes several default FDC files, and players can create their own FDC files.

In FarmD, players assume the role of animal-like humanoids and engage in explicit acts. FarmD includes four default player-character models, for drake, gryphon, kobold, and leopard humanoids. These models are saved as FDC files, in the following directory:

~/​FarmD_Data/​StreamingAssets/​Characters

If players are not satisfied with FarmD's default character models, they can create their own using Blender , Unity , and the FarmD Character Importer Unity plug-in. These custom characters are also saved as FDC files.

You can use an FDC file as a character in FarmD (Windows). To do so, place the file in the following directory:

~/​FarmD_Data/​StreamingAssets/​Characters

The character your FDC file contains will then be selectable in-game.
