MP files also contain metadata , such as the project name and board configuration, allowing users to save and reopen their visual programming projects without losing progress.

The program utilizes a block-based coding interface, allowing users to create programs by assembling graphical code blocks, particularly in robotics, artificial intelligence ( AI ), and the Internet of Things ( IoT ).
Users can arrange code blocks to define the behavior of an application and save the project as an MP file to preserve its current state for future editing or sharing. NOTE: The "MP" file extension stands for "Mind+ Project."
How to open an MP file
You can open MP files with DFRobot Mind+ in the desktop version (Windows, macOS, and Linux) by selecting File → Open . The web version of Mind+ does not support creating or opening MP files.
You can also extract an MP file's contents with any Zip-decompression utility (such as 7-Zip or Apple Archive Utility ), after renaming the file to use the .zip extension.
How to convert an MP file
DFRobot Mind+ allows you to save MP projects as Scratch 3.0 Project ( .SB3 files).
