What is a TAAC file? A TAAC file is a raster image saved in the Sun TAAC image format. It contains an uncompressed RGBA or RGB image, which may be paletted. Sun Microsystems created the TAAC format for use on its proprietary workstations.

You can open a TAAC file with XnViewMP (multiplatform). To do so, select File → Open... from the program's menu bar. Then, navigate to and open your file.
