What is a WEA file? Weather data file used by Autodesk Ecotect, a building analysis program for designing energy efficient buildings; may also be opened using the Weather Tool, a program used for analyzing and visualizing hourly climate data.

More Information WEA files contain weather pattern information and are used for simulation purposes. They are saved in a binary format that can only be opened with Autodesk software. NOTE: Autodesk acquired the Ecotect program from Square One Research in 2008. But in 2015, Ecotect Analysis was no longer available for purchase.
