Software Overview
Fetch is an FTP and SFTP client for OS X. The client was originally released in 1989 by Jim Matthews as an employee of Dartmouth College and is now developed by Fetch Softworks.
Fetch is compatible with almost all FTP servers, including VMS, VM/CMS, and OS/2. Along with the FTP protocol, the client also supports SFTP and FTP with TLS/ SSL (FTPS). Fetch provides some handy features such as droplet shortcuts for convenient uploading, mirroring for synchronizing folders and files on your local machine and server, and automatic resume of uploads that have stalled or failed. You can also preview image, video, and audio files directly in Fetch through Quick Look .
Fetch is one of the oldest and most popular FTP clients among Mac users. It is compatible with the most popular file transfer protocols and comes with handy features such as shortcuts and folder and file mirroring. These features make Fetch an easy-to-use and reliable FTP client for OS X users.
