What is an AMB file? An AMB file is a game data file used by Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I or II. It contains some combination of game assets, such as textures, level layouts, and character models. AMB files do not, however, contain any of the games' audio files.

It is a 2D, side-scrolling game in which Sonic teams with Tails and Knuckles to battle Doctor Eggman and Metal Sonic.
