A DAF file may also be an archive saved in the DupArchive Format (DAF) by the SnapCreek Duplicator Pro plugin, which is used to back up and migrate Wordpress sites. It contains one or more files that make up a Wordpress site and is compressed to save space. DAF files are similar to .ZIP files and are primarily used to store large Wordpress sites.
More Information
To save your site in the DAF format, you must have the Duplicator pro plugin installed in the dashboard of your WordPress site. Once installed, you must switch to the DAF format from the default Zip format. To do this, select Set Duplicator Pro → Settings → Packages → Archive Engine to DupArchive .
