What is an FDP file? An FDP file stores an encrypted file or folder created by the now-discontinued UPEK Protector Suite QL, a program designed to securely protect sensitive information. Without fingerprint authentication, the encrypted contents of FDP files are inaccessible. NOTE: In 2010, AuthenTec acquired UPEK, which ceased the development of Protector Suite QL. Apple Inc. then acquired AuthenTec in 2012.

An FMOD project is built into an FMOD Events ( .FEV ) file and an FMOD Sound Bank ( .FSB ) file. These two files are used by the game runtime to trigger and play audio events.
NOTE: FDP files were replaced by FSPRO files when FMOD Designer was renamed FMOD Studio. However, FDP files can still be opened by FMOD Studio.
