What is a PRTL file? A PRTL file is a video title created by Adobe Premiere Pro, a professional video editing application. It contains the text and styles for a video title, which may be used for headings, intros, lower-thirds, captions, and credits that appear throughout a production.

How to open a PRTL file
You can open PRTL files with Adobe Premiere Pro. To import a PRTL file, select File → Import... . The title you opened should now be visible in the "Project" pane in Premiere Pro (select Window → Project to view it).
You can also open PRTL files with an XML or source code editor since the file stores its information in the XML standard. However, we advise you to not manually edit a PRTL file with an XML editor since your edits may corrupt the file.
