What is a TTMD file? A TTMD file is a trail map created by Trail Tracker GPS, an iOS app used for tracing running, hiking, and cycling paths. It contains a trail, which includes elevation changes, distance, speed, time elapsed, waypoints, and images. TTMD files are saved in XML format.
More Information When you save a trail map in Trail Tracker GPS, the app creates a TTMD file to store the trail information. In order to prevent the loss of your map information Trail Tracker GPS autosaves your map every other minute. If you want to view your map trail in another program you can be export it as a .KML or .GPX file. The TTMD format was introduced in version 3.0 of Trail Tracker. It replaced the MSDF file format. NOTE: TapTools Trail Tracker GPS has been discontinued.
