What is an AFS file? An AFS file is a project created by STAAD.foundation, a CAD program used to design and study construction foundations. It contains foundation components and their physical properties and may include concrete slabs, meshes, and soils. AFS files can be used to analyze the structural soundness of a design.
More Information AFS files were replaced by SFA files with the release of version 7. Also, STAAD.foundation was renamed to STAAD Foundation Advanced with the release.
