What is an EV3 file? An EV3 file is a project created by LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3, an app for commanding LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 robots. It contains all of the project assets, including .EV3P programs, .EV3E experiments, .RGF graphics, .RSF sounds, building instructions, and My Block commands.
More Information LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 allows you to develop and control LEGO robots. When programming a robot, you can save your progress as a project, which you can re-open later. To save a project as an EV3 file, click the “+” tab at the top left of the Lobby screen in the application and click the floppy disk “Save” icon at the top right.
