What is a PP2 file? A PP2 file stores data collected by PingPlotter, a visual traceroute network troubleshooting tool. It allows network problems to be identified and monitored using a graphical display. Each PP2 file lists each location, or hop, that data moves through from its starting point to its destination. It includes IP addresses, DNS names, and response times.
